Brazil - 6in (150mm) Petty Culinary Knife Stainless Steel

“Brazil” 6 inch (150mm) petty blade knife. A whirling, swirling world of satin-like green and yellow resin flows throughout the wa-style handle on this stainless steel petty knife. Light hits the vaguely translucent colors and makes then dance with a lightly fluorescent fervor. This knife will be a blast to cook with, especially when celebrating the flavor and boldness of Brazilian cuisine.

The blade is made from molybdenum vanadium [stainless] steel, which is a mid-grade stainless steel hardened to HRC 57. Nothing fancy, but gets the job done, won’t rust, and easy to sharpen. You won't have to baby this knife. The edge angle is sharpened to 15 degrees and stropped for a razor sharp edge. Full flat grind (tapers from spine to cutting edge). The blade is 6” (150 mm) long, 1.122” (29.5 mm) tall, & 0.073” (1.85 mm) thick at the spine with a distal taper (gets thinner as it goes to the tip). The total length of the knife is 10.7” (272 mm).
