“Copper Overload II” 6 inch (150mm) petty blade knife. Copper all day! Copper is a great conductor of the electrical energies in the human body, and with this knife in hand, the instrument will truly become an extension of the chef's will. Copperleaf flakes populate this handle and give it its rich, reddish tone. More than a touch of copper in the wa-style polyurethane resin handle can add a little shock value to whatever you're cooking.
The blade is made from molybdenum vanadium [stainless] steel, which is a mid-grade stainless steel hardened to HRC 57. Nothing fancy, but gets the job done, won’t rust, and easy to sharpen. You won't have to baby this knife. The edge angle is sharpened to 15 degrees and stropped for a razor sharp edge. Full flat grind (tapers from spine to cutting edge). The blade is 6” (150 mm) long, 1.122” (29.5 mm) tall, & 0.073” (1.85 mm) thick at the spine with a distal taper (gets thinner as it goes to the tip). The total length of the knife is 10.7” (272 mm).
